Customer service is top notch! Originally we were going to dine in, but the tables didn’t look like they were wrapping up quickly. They gave us tea while we were waiting and were extremely apologetic about the whole thing. We ended up ordering to-go because we were starving and the to-go box is beautiful! Food was delicious and portion was pretty big. The pork rib was cooked so well. My boyfriend ordered coffee in a glass bottle and it was done just right- not too sweet and strong. Highly, highly recommend!

First of all price is great! Value for a combo broken rice comes with four items for $13(tax included). We dine in durning lunch rush so the wait was long. We also saw the togo box from other customer which has a great design and colorful. We order the combo four item which came with grill pork ribs, meat loaf, broken rice, pickle veggies, shredded pork skin and veggie soup. But the pork ribs was super tender. They also offer free ice tea. Overall value is great for the amount of food.

Been trying this place for a few months now. They have beautiful packaging, and almost unbelievably generous pricing. They make great food and have a simple but nice menu! I had a banh mi heo quay for the first time today. It was a 9.5/10. This particular banh mi was so stupid good I was shocked the whole time munching on it while driving home. It is incredible and perhaps the top two best banh mi I’ve ever had outside of dac biet. Bread delicious, heo quay crispy and flavorful, sauces crazy good, veggies fresh and yummy compliments. They held nothing back for that banh mi. Panini pressed is my guess. Crisp Also ate the thit nuong banh mi. Maybe 8/10. Still very yum and price very nice.

We love the restaurant. We will be back. Let’s get that out of the way. We love the simplicity of the menu which equates to better quality for each dishes. That was not disappointed. We ordered the two items on the menu. I would give 5 stars if they had beef for the rice dishes. The pork would be better if it was cooked fresh rather than heated up. The fish sauce as crazy as it sounds carried the weight of the dish. The rice was on point as they used broken rice and not regular rice like most places. The other dish was beef on iron skillet and it was better than 99% places that do it. My son loves that dish.

My mom picked me up a bbq pork banh mi from here and I’ve gotta say this is one of the best bbq pork BM sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread has a nice outer crunch with a soft center and the meat is tender and tastes fresh off the grill. The vegetable to meat ratio is just right and it has a buttery taste to compliment the sandwich.

$12 incredible value. Takeout not recommended for tree-huggers. Sun 7/21 about 12:45 pm I arrived and dine-in line looked long. I ordered takeout and about 5 min my order was ready. I asked how much for the iced tea and cashier said it was complimentary and handed me one. Nice staff.

The price at Lac Viet is hard to beat. Menu has only a few options, mainly cơm tấm, banh mi and bò né. The sizzling beef and bread were pretty good, but cơm tấm was just average. The fish sauce was on the sweeter side and the pork chops were dry and burnt. The restaurant was small and quite crowded when we went, so the wait was long. Staff was nice and attentive to customers. It is good for the price but i’m not sure i would come back again for its food.

We tried Com tam (broken rice) & banh mi chao (baguette with other side dishes in a frying pan). Their portions are huge comparing to price. The food is really good, authentic Vietnamese flavor. The service is fine not too ok but they’re trying. You should try.
